Robert Louis Nicholson Jr. was born to Robert L. and Ethel J. Nicholson on August 5, 1962.
Robert received his primary and secondary education in the Indianapolis Public School System earning his diploma in the Job Corp, then enlisting in the U.S. Army
Robert loved to cook, working at Places like Bob Evans, Wagon Wheel, , then he took over the kitchen at Barritz and the Famous Grand Night Club, Rob also worked a t the Juvenile Center and Carrier.
Robert accepted Christ and was baptized at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. C.V. Jetter.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother & father, His Daughter Nykia Nicholson, his sisters Pamala Brown, Jerrilynn Echols, Kim Nicholson-Magee, Denise Nicholson, Brothers Maurice Gurnell, Anthony Nicholson (Kay), Robert Nicholson, Stepmother Vivian Nicholson, stepsons, Harold Mabra, Rashaad Porter, his aunt Mary Smith, Uncle Charles Wilson and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives, and his companion Tonya Porter and many friends.
A memorial service will be at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 3801 Forest Manor Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46226 on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 11a.m. Visitation prior to service at 10a.m.
